Hunter Readymixed Concrete (HRMC) is a 100% locally owned, independent readymix company and part of the Hunter Construction Group. For 30 years, we’ve supplied quality concrete and dependable service to a wide range of construction markets across the Hunter.
We’re adding three full-time Concrete Agitator Drivers to our Gateshead plant. We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, support the people around them, and want to help build a stronger, more positive team culture. If that sounds like you, we’d like to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll be responsible for the safe, professional delivery of readymixed concrete to residential, commercial and civil sites across the Lower Hunter, representing HRMC with a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver concrete to clients’ construction sites
- Manage concrete slump tolerance and safe discharge on site
- Complete delivery documentation to HRMC standard
- Build strong working relationships with customers and teammates
- Keep your truck clean and well maintained
- Follow NHVR rules, regulations and site requirements
- Play your part in a positive, evolving team cultures
About you
Minimum requirements
- Hold a current HR driver’s licence (minimum)
- Be able to provide a driver’s licence history check
- A safety-first mindset and a genuine team attitude
- Reliable, with a track record of turning up and following through
Also beneficial (not essential – training provided)
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
- Experience driving heavy rigid (HR) vehicles
- Concrete or construction delivery experience
