Hunter Readymixed Concrete (HRMC) is a 100% locally owned, independent readymix company and part of the Hunter Construction Group. For more than 29 years, we’ve supplied quality concrete and dependable service to a wide range of construction markets across the Hunter.
We are seeking proactive Concrete Agitator Drivers/Operators (Full Time or Casual) for our Lower Hunter based concrete plants. We’re backed by an Enterprise Agreement that places our drivers among the top tier in the market, with additional benefits and allowances.

About the role
You will be responsible for the safe and professional delivery of readymixed concrete to customer sites, while representing HRMC with a high standard of service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver concrete to clients’ construction sites
- Manage concrete slump tolerance and the discharge of concrete on site
- Complete basic documentation to HRMC standard
- Help to develop positive long term customer relationships
- Maintain the truck in a clean and tidy condition to HRMC standard
- Adhere to stringent NHVR rules and regulations and site requirements
Concrete industry experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidates.
About you
Minimum requirements
- Hold a current HR driver’s licence (minimum)
- Be able to provide a driver’s licence history check/driving record
- Have a positive attitude and sense of integrity to work safely and efficiently
- Be reliable and take pride in yourself and your work
Also beneficial
- Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card)
- Experience driving heavy rigid (HR) vehicles
- Concrete or construction delivery experience (not essential)
